Adults and young adults serve as teachers, aides and office helpers, to pass on the teachings, moral values and beliefs of the Catholic Church to the children of the parish in grades K-6.

To register, families must be registered at St. Elizabeth Parish.  Special circumstances must be discussed with the Director, Beth Riordan, 610-646-6545. 

The basis of religious eduction is th Liturgy of the Word and the Eucharist, students and families are expected to attend Mass.

 Keep in mind that weekly class attendance is expected and necessary to progress to the next level.

If a child was not baptized at St. Elizabeth Parish, the first time you register, please provide a copy of the baptismal record for each child. 

We are grateful to all of the parents who volunteer for our program, therefore their children will be placed in the session of their prefernce.  All other placements are on a first come basis.  When a class fills up it will be closed for that session.  We would gladly offer more classes if we had more volunteer catechists. 

Sessions are held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 4:45 - 6:00 and Monday and Tuesday 6:30 - 7:45.
