Theology of the Body - “Igniting the Divine Spark”
The Respect Life Ministry of St. Anastasia church is sponsoring a one-day retreat for young people, grades 8 through 12, entitled Theology of the Body -"Igniting the Divine Spark" at Cardinal O'Hara H.S. on Saturday, March 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The retreat will feature Samantha Kelley who is a dynamic, engaging speaker on the topic of St. John Paul's Theology of the Body. Other presenters include: Fr. Stephen DeLacy - Archdiocese Director of Youth Ministry; Fr August Taglionetti - O’Hara Chaplain; Pete DeMaio - Mission Love & Life; popular Singer/Songwriter Gus DiSimone; John Sechuk - Generation Life, and others.

Today, more than ever, forgiveness is needed in our world. What is forgiveness? How does one forgive? What are the obstacles to forgiveness? These questions will be explored on this conference day. In addition, modern day examples of people who have forgiven will be presented, reflecting the power of God in such actions. Coffee and check-in begins at 8:45 am. The day includes Mass and lunch.
