Congratulations on the birth of your newest family member!
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated each Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the church. Periodically through the year, parents may also arrange to have their child baptized within a regularly scheduled weekend Mass.
First-time parents are required to attend a Pre-Jordan program prior to baptism. This program covers the significance of the Sacrament of Baptism. Pre-Jordan classes are held on the second Saturday of every other month at 10:30 AM in the Mullin Ministry Center next to the church. If you have attended Pre-Jordan previously for another child, you are not required to attend again.
If you have already taken Pre-Jordan, we welcome you to schedule a Baptism by filling out the Baptism Registration Form at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions, please call the parish office (610-321-1200).

Godparents:
Godparents play a unique role in the life of a child. A godparent should be:a baptized Catholic who has received the sacraments of Holy Eucharist and Confirmation;
at least 16 years old; and
faithfully practicing and believing in the Catholic faith as a participating member of a parish community.
A baptized non-Catholic may serve as an “official witness” to the baptism if there is also a Catholic sponsor who meets the requirements of a godparent. The non-Catholic witness should be an active member of his/her church community.
Godparents who are members of other Catholic parishes must obtain a Letter of Eligibility from their home parish, stating that they meet the criteria above.
