Our Mission: 

A prayer and crafting ministry dedicated to supporting our parish family and community by offering gifts of warmth, comfort, peace, celebration and strength.  Our crafted gifts of faith and love are offered in stewardship, service and friendship. 

What We Do:

We make items in the form of knitting, crocheting, sewing (lap blankets, shawls, slippers, baby booties, bibs, hats), and making rosaries. These items are donated to organizations in the community that distribute the items to those in need. All crafted items are gifts of faith and love given freely and cannot be purchased. Each item is a blend of time, talent, and prayers offered in stewardship service by the crafter to the recipient. Our monthly meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 11:00 AM or 7:00 PM.

Crafting Team:  

• Individuals of any age or any skill level (male or female)
• Crafters will need to provide their own crochet hooks, knitting needles, sewing machines, etc.

Gift Wrap & Delivery Team:  

• Individuals to fold and tie the crafted items with a simple ribbon and attach crafter’s note card 
• Individuals willing to deliver completed items

Target organizations/agencies:  

• Servicing needs within our own parish and the local community (women and family shelters, shut-ins, nursing homes, hospitals, etc.).

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do I have to attend meetings?
   • No, parishioners can participate at home and donate their crafted items upon completion.
2. I really want to help but I don’t know how to knit or sew, what can I do to help?
   • There are many ways to help.  First, if you are willing to learn a new craft, reach out to our Ministry Leaders and they will connect you with a crafter who can help expand your skills! Second, consider participating as part of the gift wrap and delivery team.
