Our Mission:
Joseph's People is a non-denominational, ecumenical support mission for workers in crisis. All are welcome. We exist to serve the unemployed and underemployed. We are inspired by the example of St. Joseph the Worker and supported by our spiritual community, are dedicated and committed to offering support, guidance, and job counseling services to the people of our community who are unemployed or are seeking full employment. We do so without regard to the religious affiliation or lack of religious affiliation of those seeking our help. We are a faith based ecumenical mission.
What We Do:
There are several chapters of Joseph's People located at churches throughout the suburbs of Philadelphia. We offer weekly meetings / events where we provide free support to the unemployed and underemployed. This support sometimes includes specific topics such as interviewing or networking or are open discussion meetings. These meetings as well as other free resources such as the book "My Journey" are posted on our website https://josephspeople.org/. We also post information and jobs on Facebook, LinkedIn and MailChimp.
