Our Mission:
Our key purpose is to provide access to a parish-based transportation solution so that parishioners may more frequently attend Mass in person.
What We Do:
The Transportation Committee provides rides for parishioners who are unable to drive themselves to weekend Masses, and to weekday doctor appointments and other medical services. Normally each driver is scheduled to drive once or twice per month. The schedule is coordinated so that each driver goes to the Mass or Masses of their choice.
We follow a three-month schedule. To set up the schedule each driver is asked to define those weekends they can drive and what Masses they prefer. More drivers are always needed. The schedules are for the three-month period.
We drive to/from appointment locations as needed.
All our drivers are parishioner volunteers who are screened by the parish. There is no charge to the riders.
