The Creation Care team brings together volunteers from the community who want to make a difference on climate change. Catholic leaders, including the U.S. bishops and Popes Saint John Paul II, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis have long recognized the reality of human-caused climate change. We’re getting together to put our faith into action.

The Creation Care team has sub-committees based on different ways we can care for our environment. There are many opportunities to serve based on your interests:

  • Trash/Compost
  • Buying/Shopping
  • Parish Informational Team
  • Recycling
  • Nature Appreciation
  • On-Site Gardens

Our group meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. We will prayerfully reflect on our place in Creation, advocate for more moral climate policies, and take real action to reduce our carbon footprint. By getting together as a team, we will bring diverse gifts and talents together.
