Other Activities of Interest
 
Pray for Vocations
All are invited to participate in a new prayer initiative in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia - Philly Adoration for Vocations.  Held each Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Sacred Heart Chapel at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Catholics are invited to spend time before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament praying for vocations and ask Him to bless His Church with many holy vocations.  We encourage everyone to pray that those whom the Lord is calling will have the courage to respond to His invitation. Divine Mercy Retreat
We are pleased to invite you to the 16th Annual Divine Mercy weekend retreat at the beautiful Malvern Retreat House — St. Joseph’s in the Hills in Malvern, Pa on April 22-24, 2021, culminating with the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday!  This year, you will have the option of joining us in person at the Retreat House or participating virtually in the comfort of your own home. This retreat is for both men and women. The cost is $250 in person and $75 for the virtual option. Check-in begins at 5:00 PM on Friday and ends after 3:00 PM Divine Mercy Devotions on Sunday. Saint Monica’s Children
Have you been praying for a family member who has strayed from the Church? Saint Monica’s Children is a newly formed ministry based on an organic movement that began in Ireland of grandparents looking to lead their grandchildren back to the faith. Please join us for our inaugural meeting on Monday, April 25, 7:00 PM at St. Joseph Parish in Downingtown. Fr. Louis Monica will be our guest speaker for the evening. No RSVP required. Archdiocesan Family Festival
Join us for a fun-filled and blessed day for families in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Saturday, April 30, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield. Children, teens and young adults of all ages welcome! If your entire family cannot make it, bring who you can and invite the Grandparents too! There will be a Toddler play room/Mommy and Me area set up with babysitters as needed for the entire day. Making Missionary Disciples
The Office for the New Evangelization, Archbishop’s Commission for Missionary Disciples and FOCUS Parish present a workshop entitled “Making Missionary Disciples” on Wednesday, May 4, from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM at Mother of Divine Providence Parish in King of Prussia. This workshop is for everyone engaged in parish ministry, especially clergy, parish leaders and volunteers. It is recommended that parishes attend as a group for full impact. Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass
Are you celebrating a special anniversary this year? The Annual Archdiocesan Wedding Anniversary Mass will take place on Saturday, May 7 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter & Paul at the 5:15 PM Mass with Archbishop Perez presiding. This Mass will be commemorating all married couples who are newlyweds, or celebrating their 5, 10, 25 or 50 year wedding anniversary milestones.
