MagniFest at St. Mary of Providence Center

St. Mary of Providence Center in Elverson is pleased to announce the return of MagniFest, a summer evening filled with music and praise, on Saturday, August 13, 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Food and beverages will be available, and you’ll be able to browse religious merchandise from different vendors who will be at the event.  At 5pm, join us for Mass celebrated by Father Steve DeLacy and Eucharistic Adoration. Feast of the Assumption Event

All are cordially invited to the 104th Annual Feast of the Assumption Communion Breakfast at the West Chester Elks Club, 401 W. Washington Street in West Chester, on Sunday, August 14 following the 9:00 AM Mass at Saint Agnes Church. Breakfast will be catered by Arianna’s Gourmet Café. There will also be a Solemn Procession at 2:30 PM, beginning in front of Saint Agnes Church, with Benediction following the Procession. Music will be performed by Aqua String Band. Wonderfully Made 2: A Theology of the Body Retreat for Young Women

The St. Peter Parish Respect Life Committee invites all high school and college students who have previously attended Wonderfully Made 1 to attend our Wonderfully Made 2 retreat from 7:00 PM Friday through 12:00 PM Sunday, August 26-28, at the Mariawald Retreat Center in Reading. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. On Saturday Reconciliation will be available, and the Vigil Mass will be celebrated. Cost is $200 per person (scholarships available). A Men’s Weekend with Friends & Jesus Too!

Members of Nativity BVM Parish will host a men’s retreat at the Malvern Retreat House on Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11. All men are welcome. This traditional retreat includes Mass, conferences (talks), private Adoration, Stations of the Cross and much more. The retreat will be led by Fr Jim McGuinn and members of the Malvern Retreat Team. Contemplative Prayer Retreat

Apostolate of the Returning King will hold a weekend retreat on contemplative prayer at the Malvern Retreat House from Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18. Padre Pio Festival

Saint Bede the Venerable Church, located in Holland (Bucks County, Northampton Township), welcomes all to its Seventh Annual Festival to honor St. Pio of Pietrelcina, (Padre Pio), on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17 and 18. The two-day event begins with Saturday’s All-American Picnic Buffet (tickets will be sold at the event), featuring games and amusements for children, food and craft vendors, and live music. The highlight will be a 5:30 PM Vigil Mass, followed by blessings with holy relics of Padre Pio. The Sunday 12:30 PM Solemn Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Thomas Betz, OFM, Cap., followed by a street procession with a statue of Padre Pio and a healing service with confessions and veneration of holy relics. All day there will be specialty food and craft vendors, amusements for children, and live musical entertainment. Plenty of free parking will be available, and pilgrim buses are welcome.
