Archdiocese of Philadelphia Wedding Anniversary Mass

The Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass is celebrated with couples in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia who have been married 1-5 years, 25 years and 50 years. This year’s Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 6, at 5:15 PM at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter & Paul. Archbishop Nelson Perez will be the principal celebrant. Retreat for Nurses

Paging all nurses! Daylesford Abbey in Paoli will hold a retreat for nurses on Sunday, May 7. Join fellow nurses for an afternoon of fellowship, reflection and renewal. Mothers of Children with Disabilities Retreat

All mothers and grandmothers who are raising children with disabilities, and those who have adult children with disabilities, are welcome and encouraged to attend a retreat on Tuesday, May 9, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Malvern Retreat House. The one-day retreat will include Mass; dynamic presentations; times of quiet prayer; and opportunities to share in fellowship with other mothers and grandmothers. In addition, Michelle White– a mother of an adult daughter with Down Syndrome, teacher, and accomplished artist– will display her art during the retreat. Those interested in attending the retreat must register. Summer Camps at Bishop Shanahan High School

FCE 2023 Golf Outing

Please save the date for the Foundation for Catholic Education’s Second Annual Golf Outing on May 16 at the Union League, Liberty Hill Golf Club in Lafayette Hill. Catholic Charities Night at Citizens Bank Park

Support the Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) and watch the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Chicago Cubs at Citizens Bank Park on Friday, May 19 at 7:05 PM. A portion of the proceeds from all tickets sold will directly benefit CCA programs that provide support to those experiencing homelessness, special needs students, food cupboards, afterschool programs, and more. If 500 or more tickets are sold, Jay from Don Guanella, a CCA beneficiary will throw out the first pitch of the game and Cardinal O’Hara High School Choir will sing the National Anthem. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School 50th Class Reunion

There will be a 50th Class Reunion for graduates of John W. Hallahan High School on October 14-15, 2023. We will meet at Logan Square at 4:00 PM on October 14 for pictures, immediately followed by Mass at 5:15 PM at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. On October 15, there will be a brunch in the IATSE Ballroom, 2401 S. Swanson Street.
