The Samaritans Choice – An Act of Love
The Archdiocesan Office for Life and Family, in partnership with the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, American Association, will present an educational program designed to help stem the tide of human trafficking in our local community. This presentation will take place on Monday, February 19, 7:00 PM at St. Joseph Church, 332 Manor Avenue, Downingtown. It will be provided free of charge and open to all. The focus is on prevention and protection for you, your family and those who fall into your sphere of influence by raising awareness on how to identify the signs, how to report it, and how to support survivors. It's the Circle of Life: End-of-Life Planning Session
Due to popular demand, The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia (CFGP) is repeating its workshop, called It's the Circle of Life, on February 22 at 8:00 AM held at SS. Peter and Paul Church in West Chester. Be sure not to miss this informative session. They will demystify end-of-life planning, share the advantages of getting your affairs in order, and present the current-day views of the Church. You will learn about CFGP’s planned giving partner, FreeWill, whose resources are gifted to you, the faithful of the Archdiocese, by CFGP. You will also receive other practical tools and resources to take with you to get started. National Eucharistic Conference
The National Eucharistic Congress will be held from July 17-21, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Archdiocese of Philadelphia encourages the faithful from parishes, religious communities, and institutions to consider attending this national event, which will feature beautiful liturgies and nationally recognized speakers, including Bishop Robert Barron, Sister Miriam James Heidland, and Father Mike Schmitz.
