Bulletin - April 15, 2018

A Word from Father Mullin

Christ is risen, Alleluia. He is risen indeed, Alleluia!

Listen to today’s Gospel Acclamation:

Lord, Jesus, open the Scriptures to us; make our hearts burn while you speak to us.

The same Jesus who spoke to the disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24) continues to speak to us when the Gospel is proclaimed at Mass and whenever we set aside a few minutes during the week to read, reflect and pray with the Sacred Scriptures.

In this Easter Season, I invite you to recommit yourself to listening attentively to the Word of God at Mass and to take at least five minutes each week to read and reflect upon a short passage of the Bible: Jesus is ready to speak to you- are you listening to him?

Fr. Tom Mullin

Dramatic Gospel Presentation

Don’t miss it: Come out next Sunday, April 22, at 7:00 PM for an entertaining and eye-opening evening with Emmy award winning actor Frank Runyeon. He will bring to life the famous parables from Luke's travel narrative during his one-person dramatic performance of Luke: Stories on the Road.

Frank will take us on a journey from Nazareth to Jerusalem while weaving in stories from his own life in order to help us hear the parables as stories about our own lives here in the present. Bring the family and your friends - the presentation and refreshments are free!

2018 Stewardship Day of Service

Thank you to the nearly 300 parishioners, young and old alike, who offered their time and talents to Saturday’s SDOS. Through their generous service, many practical, hands-on projects were completed for 20 local agencies. Kudos to one and all!

More information about Tuition Care will be communicated shortly.
