A Word from Father Stokely

Christ is risen, Alleluia. He is risen indeed, Alleluia!

"This is my commandment: love one another as I love you." Jesus urges us to "remain in his love" so that his joy may be in us and our joy might be complete. Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. We experience joy when we awaken to God's Presence in our lives - when we realize that we are deeply loved by him.

Our vocation as Christian disciples is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ. Perhaps one of the best ways we preach the Gospel is by sharing the gift of joy with those around us.

Fr. John P. Stokely
