Bulletin - June 17, 2018

A Word from Father Mullin

In writing to the community of disciples in Corinth, Saint Paul offers some sobering words to us, too:

We all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ.

In his letter to the Romans, Paul gives a similar caution:

Each of us shall have to give an accounting of himself to God.

Who of us wants to hear about divine judgment (unless it’s a judgment against the other guy!)? Nevertheless, even as we rely upon God’s mercy, we would do well to prepare ourselves to meet the Lord by being reconciled to God. Sacramental confession is available every Saturday at 9:00 AM in chapel - the Lord is waiting...

Fr. Tom Mullin

Permanent Diaconate Ordination

Congratulations to parishioners Jonathan Hess and Kevin Mead, who were ordained to the permanent diaconate on Saturday, June 9. We are happy to announce that Archbishop Chaput has assigned Deacon Kevin to our parish, while Deacon Jon will be serving at St. John the Evangelist Church in Morrisville, PA. May God bless their diaconate ministry among the People of God in the years to come!
