Liturgical Schedule for Holy Week and Easter

Palm Sunday, April 4-5: regular weekend Mass schedule, with Saturday Vigil Mass at 5:30 PM and Mass on Sunday at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:30 AM. Palm will be blessed within the Eucharistic Liturgy and distributed by the ushers and greeters.

Holy Thursday, April 9: Mass of the Lord’s Supper in church at 7:30 PM with Solemn Procession & Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel between 9:00 PM and Midnight.

Good Friday, April 10: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3:00 PM; Holy Communion is distributed only at this service.

New this year: Evening Prayer Service and Veneration of the Cross at 7:00 PM in chapel for those who are unable to attend the afternoon Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.

Holy Saturday, April 11: Blessing of Easter Food in the social hall at 11:00 AM.

Easter Vigil, April 11: Mass at 8:00 PM, beginning in the church courtyard.

SS. Philip & James, Exton: Join us for a Solemn Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, March 17-March 25. Fr. Michael Callaghan, Director of the National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, Germantown, will preach each day of the Novena. The Novena Prayers will be prayed at the 8:30 AM morning Mass, all of the weekend Masses, and again at a special evening Mass each day at 7:00 PM including Saturday and Sunday.
