OTHER ACTIVITIES OF INTEREST

St. Charles Borromeo Seminary: Christmas brings us joy and hope for the future which we need more this year than ever. In that spirit, we invite you to join us virtually for our 33rd Annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 6 at 2:00 PM. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, the concert cannot be performed live and in-person and will be streamed and available to watch starting December 6 and lasting through the end of the year. The concert will feature seven selections plus a Christmas medley. A highlight of the performance will be the singing of Biebl’s famous seven-part Ave Maria by 23 seminarians in virtual choir. Compassionate Caretaker Needed: A lovely, elderly couple is looking for a compassionate individual, part-time, approximately 2-4 hours per day. Help is needed for medication reminders, making lunch, doing laundry, running dishwasher, other household chores and occasional incidental shopping at Giant which is right next door. Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary: The Seminary recently announced the launch of the Institute for Christian Formation with classes beginning in January 2021. The Institute offers a dynamic, new program of spiritual formation and development for men and women in a non-degree/non-credit format. Sessions will be held on Thursday evenings but not every week so that the program is manageable for most. The full program consists of four seasons over two years and participants who complete the full program will receive a certificate of completion that will be recorded in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Catechetical Formation.
