Feast of the Assumption Communion Breakfast and Procession
All are cordially invited to the 103rd annual Feast of the Assumption celebration on Sunday, August 15, starting with the 9:00 AM Mass at Saint Agnes church in West Chester. After Mass there will be a communion breakfast at the West Chester Elks Club, 401 W. Washington Street, West Chester. A solemn procession will begin at 2:30 PM in front of Saint Agnes Church led by the Philadelphia based Aqua String Band and will end with Benediction in the church. Living the Beatitudes Young Adult Retreat
Malvern Retreat House will host a retreat for young adults (20s & 30s) on the weekend of September 3-5. This Labor Day weekend retreat will be led by Fr. Remigio Morales, SCV, a brother of the Christian Life Community at St. Agatha-St. James parish in downtown Philadelphia, and accompanied by Fr. Steven DeLacy, Vicar of Faith Formation for Youth and Young Adults. The retreat will include Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration, opportunity for Confession, small group discussion, and time to explore the beautiful grounds of Malvern and enjoy fellowship and recreation with other young adults striving to live out their Catholic faith.
