Job Opening for Musical Director

St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Parish is looking to fill a part-time position as Music Director to begin ministry in September 2021. This position requires the ability to play the pipe organ and at time piano. This position involves two or three weekend Masses (Saturday Vigil Mass at 4:15 pm, Sunday Masses at 9:30am and 11:30 am), as well as rehearsing with the Parish Choir on Tuesday evenings from September to June. Additional liturgies to be covered include: Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, Holy Days, and Masses for the Sacraments of Initiation (First Eucharist and Confirmation). Wedding and funeral liturgy planning with the families is also required. Additional compensation is provided for these liturgies. Bishop Shanahan High School SAT/PSAT Programs

Bishop Shanahan High School and Dr. Richard Fuller offers a comprehensive 35-hour training fall learning experience in a PSAT/SAT Program (with a student teacher ratio of 10:1 in math). Two Live Virtual Events with Ralph Martin

Join Ralph Martin, author and  president of Renewal Ministries, for two live virtual events sponsored by the Evangelization Team at OLPH in Morton. Living the Beatitudes Young Adult Retreat

Malvern Retreat House will host a retreat for young adults (20s & 30s) on the weekend of September 3-5. This Labor Day weekend retreat will be led by Fr. Remigio Morales, SCV, a brother of the Christian Life Community at St. Agatha-St. James parish in downtown Philadelphia, and accompanied by Fr. Steven DeLacy, Vicar of Faith Formation for Youth and Young Adults. The retreat will include Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, Eucharistic Adoration, opportunity for Confession, small group discussion, and time to explore the beautiful grounds of Malvern and enjoy fellowship and recreation with other young adults striving to live out their Catholic faith. Legion of Mary Anniversary MassCelebrate our 100th Anniversary! All are invited to join in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Legion of Mary with a Mass of Thanksgiving at the Cathedral Basilica of Sts. Sixth Annual Padre Pio Festival

Saint Bede the Venerable Church, located in Holland, PA welcomes all to its Sixth Annual Festival to honor St. Pio of Pietrelcina, better known as Padre Pio, on Saturday-Sunday, September 18-19. The two day event features games, amusements for children, food and craft vendors, and live music. There will be a 5:30 PM vigil Mass on Saturday evening, followed by blessings with holy relics, and 12:30 PM Mass on Sunday, followed by a street procession through the surrounding neighborhood.
