Volunteer Opportunity for Partners in Outreach

Join your neighbors and fellow parishioners and make a REAL impact in the life of a 2nd grade student in one of 6 grade schools in Chester County. Administered by Partners in Outreach, REAL: Reading Excites All Learners is a one-on-one tutoring program built to support at-risk readers in early grades. Join the REAL team and help a second grade student with their reading skills on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, or serve as a substitute as openings occur.  No experience is necessary. Villa Maria Academy High School Fall Admissions Events

Learn about what the Villa Maria sisterhood has to offer! Villa Maria Academy High School, a Catholic college preparatory school in the tradition of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, invites young women in 7th & 8th grades to attend the school's fall events. Located in Malvern. Villa Maria will host an Open House for prospective students and their families on Sunday, October 3. The 8th Grade Entrance-Scholarship Exam will be offered on two dates: Sunday, October 17, and Saturday, October 23.The VMA Virtual 8th Grade Preview will be offered on Thursday, October 28. Additionally, Villa Maria will host half-day Visit Villa Days to 8th grade students from September through December. SS. Simon & Jude Eucharistic Adoration/Healing Service

The SSJ Charismatic Prayer Ministry in West Chester invites you to a Eucharistic Adoration & Healing Service. We are celebrating our 45th year praying together for each other and anyone in need of prayer. We encourage you to join us in the main church for one, two or all three of the following opportunities for prayer: October 4 - Healing of Body; November 8 - Healing of Mind; February 7 - Healing of Soul. Charity 5K for Homeless

You can make a difference for those experiencing homelessness in just 3.1 miles. Join Bethesda Project for the 2nd annual Home Run 5K from October 7-10, 2021! Register individually or as a team to walk, run, or bike a course of your choice. This can be a great way to connect outdoors and walk as a congregation, Sunday School classes, or worship teams. All racers track their times while completing the 5K and record their times on the race page for the chance to win prizes including fastest time, best race photo, most funds raised, and more. Registration is $25 (with a $200 fundraising minimum). All funds raised support Bethesda Project's essential programs and 16 shelters and residences in Philadelphia. Roman Catholic High School Open House

Roman Catholic High School will hold its Fall Open House for prospective students on Sunday, October 17th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Pre-registration is required and because of the pandemic we request that only one parent attend with their son. Scholarship Entrance Exams- Roman Catholic High School will administer three entrance exams for 8th grade boys this fall on Saturday, October 23rd / Sunday, November 7th / Saturday, November 27th. Testing will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at noon. We ask that all applicants arrive 30 minutes ahead of time. Writing Retreat

November 2-4, the Marianist Family Retreat Center in Cape May, NJ will host a writing retreat. Writing is a safe and fulfilling way to honor our stories.
