Marple Township Police Association: MTPA Horseshoe & Cornhole Tournament, Saturday, June 16, at Cardinal O’Hara High School. Registration begins at 8:00 AM & tournament begins at 9:00 AM. Bishop Shanahan High School: BSHS and Dr. Richard Fuller offers a summer learning experience in four areas: Algebra I enrichment program (grades 5-9); Math Programs: Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus & Calculus (grades 8-12), Critical Thinking Skills program (grades 8-12) and a PSAT/SAT Program (grades 8-12) with a student-teacher ratio of 8-1. Warrior Spirit Youth Lacrosse Camps: Boost skill, build character, be a warrior! IHM Sister’s Night: The IHM Sisters invite single young women (ages 18-35) to join them on Friday, June 22, 6:00-9:00 PM at the IHM Motherhouse in Immaculata, PA. This is a great opportunity for young women who are curious about religious life to spend some time with the sisters in an informal setting. IHM Discernment Retreat: Experience a weekend retreat at the IHM Motherhouse ( Friday, June 22, 6:00 PM through Sunday, June 24, 1:00 PM) with the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary sisters, novices and postulants. Summer Program at Villa: Villa Maria is offering a summer program for girls K-8 (incoming Kindergarten students are welcome). Each week will center on a common theme. Campers will engage in language arts, religion, science, STEM, art and math activities. Cost is $225/week per camper. The camp is held from 8:30 AM-12:00 noon, at Villa Maria Lower School. Quo Vadis Days-June 25-28: This 4-day, 3-night camp, held at Black Rock Retreat Center, is an annual favorite for high school aged men (incoming freshmen to graduated seniors). The camp includes daily Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, outdoor activities, a ropes course, powerful prayer, great talks, and an opportunity to interact with the Philadelphia seminarians.
