As announced back in March, Archbishop Chaput has
appointed our parochial vicar, Fr. John Stokely, to
full-time graduate studies in Canon Law, effective June
17, 2019. Congratulations to Fr. John for this appointment
and the opportunity for him to be of greater
priestly service to the Church of Philadelphia in the
years ahead.
It has been a blessing for all in our parish community to
have Fr. John with us since June of 2016. Our sincere
appreciation and deep gratitude to him for his dedicated
priestly service here at Saint Elizabeth.
All are welcome to a parish farewell for Fr. John on
Sunday, June 9, with Mass at 11:30 AM in church,
followed by a simple reception in the social hall at
12:30 PM. May God continue to bless Fr. John in his
new ministry!
