2019   Parish Mission

On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, March 17-18-19, we will welcome Mrs. Elizabeth Ficocelli, who will present an engaging, three-day parish mission entitled: Discovering, Living, and Sharing Our Mission. Her goal is to awaken her audiences to the realization that they play an important role in building the kingdom of God.

Elizabeth's staffing point is the conviction that each and every one of us has a mission -- a distinct plan and purpose designed by God for the intention of living out our Christian discipleship to bring Christ to the world. We need not fear, because we have been created with all the gifts and characteristics necessary to answer this call, right where we are, in a way that only we can do. In her first presentation, Elizabeth shares her own belief that mission is something the Lord has placed on her heart from the time she was a child, giving a personal testimony about her own j ourney from a non-Catholic upbringing to her life as a Catholic evangelist. Her testimony has inspired countless people to reflect on how God works in their own lives to prepare them for their missionOn the second night, Elizabeth will speak about the need to unburden ourselves from things that may be holding us back, holding us captive and so interfering with our ability to fully live our mission. She offers a refreshing new look at the Sacrament of Reconciliation, sharing her own struggles with this sacrament as a convert and the way God graced her through nothing short of a miracle to understand and embrace this great gift of healing and mercy.

On the third night, Elizabeth looks at mission from the standpoint of the Church, scripture, saints and the Mass, She gives practical suggestions on discerning mission and preparing ourselves for it. With short but touching stories, she offers simple yet profound ways to bring Christ to the world right where we are in life, She also reflects upon what to do when faced with adversity. By the end of this presentation - and mission - the audience is fired up and ready to discover, live and share their mission!

Elizabeth Ficocelli is an inspirational Catholic speaker for international audiences at conferences, parishes, schools, retreats and events. She is a frequent guest on Catholic radio and television, and also hosts her own program, "Answering The Call" on St. Gabriel Catholic Radio AM 820.

In addition to her speaking and media work, Elizabeth is a best-selling, award-winning author of fifteen books for adults and young people as well as numerous Catholic magazine articles. For more information, visit www.elizabethficocelli.com.
